This product is harvested from Aquilaria (Dó Bầu) trees grown naturally in Central Vietnam. As the tree heals, it secretes resin to cover the wounds—this biological process forms agarwood.

After a certain period, depending on the tree’s condition, the craftsmen fell the tree and begin splitting and scraping the trunk to find agarwood. The amount of resin depends on luck and the tree’s natural response.
